Dr. Iyer is a board-certified ophthalmologist with specialty training in vitreo-retinal diseases and surgery. Dr. Iyer and his staff are committed to providing state-of-the-art, compassionate care and believe in treating our patients as we would want to be treated.

Dr. Iyer obtained a Master's degree in Chemical Engineering at Clarkson University, New York, and his medical degree from the University of Cincinnati. He then completed his ophthalmology residency at the Medical College of Wisconsin, Milwaukee, and a two-year vitreo-retinal fellowship at Baylor College of Medicine, Houston, Texas.

Dr. Iyer has published extensively in professional journals, written text-book chapters on age-related macular degeneration and endophthalmitis, and presented his research at national meetings. He is a Fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, and member of the American Medical Association, ARVO, and American Society of Retina Specialists.

In his spare time, Dr. Iyer enjoys spending time with his family, coaching his son's U-8 soccer team, and playing tennis.
